For prose commissions, I charge $0.03 per word ($30 for a 1,000 word story). Once you email me with your query and I decide to accept it, we'll finalize the expectations, and I'll begin work. If you'd like, you may request that I send you a summary before I write the piece in full. That way, if you have any details you'd like me to change, I can accommodate that.
I divide poetry commissions into two types: narrative poetry and image poetry. Narrative poetry (such as "The Death of the Asphodel") costs $0.40 per line, since it's by far my most time consuming work. For poems that focus more on a particular image or emotion (even if a light narrative is present, such as my untitled love poem), I charge $0.20 per line. I am also adept at several forms, such as the sonnet and cinquain; feel free to ask if a particular form is of interest. To commission me for poetry, send me an email, and we'll discuss the piece!
